The CD-Rom The Ancient Greek Coin is the result of the DRACMA program that was carried out at the initiative of the University of Messina in collaboration with the Athens Numismatic Museum and the participation of the Cypriot Archaeological Service and the Archaeological Museum in Agrigento (anc. Akragas).

The project presents ancient Greek coins as a means of encounter and transaction among peoples, economies, civilisations and religions in the Mediterranean from the beginning of coinage (end of 7th century BC) to the end of the Hellenistic period (end of 1st century BC).


The CD-Rom is available in Greek, English and Italian.
